Hong Kong part III

Day 8

Made a trip down to Disneyland! Headed to Citygate outlet for more shopping before that till we were reluctant to leave. Made our way to Disneyland only around 3pm. :/ Citygate outlet stuff were really cheap, but only managed to grab a few polo tees at Ralph Lauren due to shortage of time. Had to take the MTR to Tung Chung all the way from Tsim Sha Tsui to go to Citygate and then head back to Sunny Bay to take the Disneyland Resort Line.

Had lunch at Citygate's Food Republic as Disneyland's food was pretty expensive and not that good according to sis.

Beef porridge

Korean noodles
Yucky egg custard pau
On the way to Disneyland with their shopping haul!

Mickey handles!

Stoked!
Ever since young, I was green with envy having to hear my friends, especially Atiah of her trips to Disneyland LA during kindergarten, and she'd buy me cookies as souvenirs. Since then it was my dream to visit Disneyland and I finally got to fulfilled it at the age of 19. :)

I'm one happy girl!

Cousin's one happy girl too!

Bag check

Super hot day!

Pretty umbrellas for sale!

Disneyland castle

Planning for the shows

Dustbin model lololol

Waiting for the parade

Dumbo the flying elephant

Songs were sung in Cantonese and I had no clue what they were singing fml.

My favourite Disney characters!

Mickey!

Winnie in a pot of honey

Tigger wannabe. Lol

Bee wannabe?

Arrival of the Disney princesses

Lion King

Tinkerbell

Lilo and Stitch

Stitch never fails to remind me of my brother. Guess both of them have something in common: mischief

Woody

Jessie! Who shook hands with me! :)
Parade ended, and we started moving to catch the shows! Okay lesson learnt, never go to Disneyland in Summer. It's freaking hot, no joke.

Tarzan's tree house

With Tinkerbell!

Tinkerbell told sis and cousin she liked both their clothes. Hello make up  your mind please.
4-D show!

Lined up for nearly half an hour just to take a shot with Minnie who's constantly having 5 min breaks after a few pictures. Guess being a mascot's a suffering deal with the scorching weather while being trapped in a ridiculous suit, entertaining hyped up people.

My favourite character!

Waited less than 5 mins for a pic with Duffy. No one likes him? :(

The Golden Mickey Awards! In cantonese version but english subtitles at the side. Wtf

Small small world castle

Boat ride while listening to dolls all over the world sing

Didn't get to go on any rides cause the queue was extremely long and we were dead tired. And partly because we entered Disneyland quite late. :/

Cheapo who only bought earrings and not the doll. :P

Mickey waffle that costs RM 20. What a rip off.

Left Disneyland around 8pm and headed back to Kowloon to have dinner with the other cousin and her colleague. Had Macau food over at a restaurant. A tinge of regret for not going to Macau since we were already in HK. And for not visiting the Peak. Shopping overruled everything.
Citrus drink

Macanese fried rice

Long beans

Chicken curry
Day 9

Got up bright and early cause it's the last day in HK and flight's at 6pm. Decided to do last minute shopping around the Kowloon area. Sis went to Sham Sui Po again to get her fabric stuff while cousin was my accompaniment. Brunch at another char chan teng. Food was mediocre.

Horlicks and milk tea

Fried noodles

Tofu with pork floss and century egg

Shopped around at Miramar Shopping Centre and The One shopping centre. Didn't get anything there except for macaroons and bought two mini mooncakes back for the parents to try.

Mediocre macaroons. Got the yuzu, pistachio and banana one.

Went for the last round of dessert before heading back to our hotel to get ready to leave. The shop was the one with the durian crepe we last visited.

Red bean wrapped in some coconut flavoured skin, chestnut crepe, pudding with Horlicks

Stewed pear

Luggage was on the verge of bursting at its seams. Shifted half of the shopping loot into cousin's hugeass luggage, thank god for that or else I'd be throwing things out of my luggage at the airport. Managed to get away with an extra kilo or so but with a gentle reminder from the air stewardess. Heh.
At the airport

Had our last meal in HK before our 4 hour flight. Even airport food tastes so good and worth the money.

Got the famous macaroons from Fauchon upon boarding. Sorry for the blur pic.

Goodbye HK :(

T'was a great trip and I'll definitely visit HK sometime soon. :)
