Day 5
Decided to head to Central for shopping and trying out this dimsum place that sis had been raving about. Apparently it has been operating for more than 70 years and Anthony Bourdain, a famous American chef has been there. Took the star ferry again!
The cousin sisters
Taxi driver couldn't understand our Cantonese and even corrected our pronunciation. :/ Oh we took a taxi from the star ferry to the shop. The dimsum was really good, very authentic old school dimsum and you had to practically fight for it! Once it was out from the kitchen, people were hovering near the push carts for their share.

Sis and I went walking around the mall while cousins headed back to the hotel. Done exploring the shops, so we decided to head to the supermarket, known as CitySuper. The wide range of selection for food was jaw dropping. And look! Spotted a heart shape smack in the middle of the ham! :)
Bro's favourite game: Taiko but in pancake form
HK people are crazy over Horlicks and Ovaltine!
Day 6
Headed over to HK island again for more shopping; Central to be exact. Sis's bf was flying there for work and so accompanied her to check in the hotel before he landed. A service apartment to be exact, small but cosy enough. And I'm sure it ain't cheap.
Location was pretty near Lam Kwai Fong, famous for the bars, clubs, the party place. Checked it out one night while meeting a friend of sis's who's a dancer there. Pretty happening street!
This was just right below Ovolo, not far from Lam Kwai Fong
At LKF too.
Brunch at this char chan teng called "Chui Hwa" that's pretty good and opens till wee hours of the morning. They've several branches but the portions are huger over in the LKF area.
Cousin's luncheon meat and egg sandwich
Ice lemon tea and milk tea. Notice the generous pieces of lemon?
Citrus juice
This was the bomb! Sis' Olive leaves fried rice with kailan stem and chicken.
Wantan soup
My pork chop burger
Lime mint slushie
Witnessed a demonstration parade while roaming the streets of Central. And it just occured to me that it's pretty difficult to find a toilet there, only available in shopping malls.
Tram that I didn't get to take :(
It was Sunday and the Filipino maids were out on their day off. The road was practically closed for them to have their picnic. Funny sight. Some were even blasting music and having a group dance. Lmao.
Took the longest elevator up the hilly road as the roads over there were pretty steep.
Went back to Ovolo to meet up with sis' bf before heading back to Kowloon for dinner
It was Mikko's treat so we opted for BLT burgers. After the meal, realised I'm not a fan of American burgers. Got so sick after eating though I shared with sis. :/ Probably cause it was too greasy and heavy.
The shop's located at Harbour City shopping mall
Chilli
Buffalo wings
Cousins shared a Buffalo burger
Mikko's Classic with sweet potato fries. Yumyumdimsum; referring to the fries
Our bacon burger and waffle fries
Walked around the mall for abit before heading back to the hotel with cousins while sis and the bf went back to HK island.
