Han Pin's 20th

It turned 12am in Malaysia first before UK's and it was a Sunday here. He was complaining that it was already his birthday in Malaysia but we took into account UK's time instead since we're here. He seemed a little down that we weren't doing anything for him nor had plans to go out to countdown for his birthday or something.

Then we decided to give him a little surprise instead. Went out in the cold to the village store to get him a cupcake and candles and surprised him at 12am. He was just out of the shower when we knocked his door:

Made our way to the campus bar for a drink under a heavy downpour to only find that it was already closed. Bummer! Went home to drink instead while savouring mooncakes as it was the Mid Autumn Festival.

 Made our way to town the next day and told Han Pin that we were going to go home for dinner instead and asked if he wanted us to cook his birthday dinner. But we were in cahoots with Amanda actually, all of us were waiting in Tampopo already before Amanda brought him there.
