London

Took a megabus downtown to London after booking our tickets online thanks to Michelle and her bf. 4 hours journey to and fro cost about 12 pounds but we could've gotten as low as 1 pound fare if we booked earlier.

Waited for the bus at one of our campus' entrance at 8am and then I slept all the way throughout the journey. Arrived at around 11 if I remember correctly, to find that Jenny was already waiting for our arrival at the bus arrival hall. Thanks to Lee Wee who contacted her; I'm such a poor planner.

The rest wanted to shop while we thought that since we're in London, it'd be wise to visit all the iconic and beautiful tourist attractions instead.

First stop at Victoria station, the subway
Jenny brought us to markets where they sell loadsa food there to fill up our stomachs before embarking on our touristy journey. Love markets like these where you can appreciate and take note of the culture of the people there.

Had our food in front of the Bristol cathedral

Went to the London Bridge as our first destination. London Bridge's nothing much, just a normal bridge that you can get it even in Malaysia.

Then, the Tower Bridge. Honestly I've always thought this was known as the London Bridge instead. Hahahaha so ignorant.

One of the castles that we passed by but didn't enter. I think it wasn't really well known and there was an entrance fee for it. Didn't bother about it.

The iconic Big Ben!

And right opposite the Big Ben's the London eye. There was this gypsy giving us little baby breaths wrapped in aluminium foil saying it's done by children. Thought it was complimentary till she asked for some money. Didn't want to give her any but Ryan, out of kind heartedness, wanted to donate a pound but ended up fishing out a two pounds coin instead. That's like RM10 in Msia wtf. And that unappreciative woman said that normally people gives a note. And the mininum value here for a note is 5 pounds which is RM25. Pfft. "Beggars can't be choosers" yo.

Jenny then told her we don't have so much and we returned her the flowers and wanted to take the 2 pound back but she just walked away, leaving us with one of the baby breaths. Zzzz. Got conned! It's okay, I believe in good karma. God will bless Ryan and maybe he won't be foreveralone soon. ;)

The Westminister Abbey that people were lining up to go into. But it was 13 pounds so forget it. A pic will do.

Bought postcards and posted one of them to realise I didn't put a stamp on it wtf.

Dad was telling me beforehand that I should go to St James park for a visit. Thought it was like a small park but it turned out to be so beautiful. One of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to! I'm a sucker for parks.

Pattern hahahhaa. Have always wanted to do this.

Met this super smart dog, Venus!

Managed to squeeze in a visit to Trafalgar square where my dad was there ages ago, before rushing to Chinatown for dinner with the rest.

And then M&M's world for our last stop before boarding the 9pm bus back to Bristol. Snoozed all the way in the bus like a pig cause was too drained out from all the walking. Feet were aching and had small blisters from my new flats, bought just the day before.

Thank you Jenny for being a wonderful tour guide! Can't wait to meet up again and shall visit more places with you together :) X
