Astro B.Yond IPTV party!

So last Saturday I attended the Astro B.Yond IPTV Hollywood and Celebrities night along with Jasmine after winning the invites. All dressed to the nines, we headed to the store in Solaris Mont Kiara. Thought we were a little overdressed as we were donned in our black dresses and heels, thinking it was a glam party. Lololol. Turned out most of the people were dressed up in their Halloween costumes instead.

The 'home' store was set up to give customers a feel of what they can expect with Astro's services at home while the concept store just right beside with different zones like the Discover, Connect and Experience zones to allow customers to experience its services. Astro B.yond IPTV now comes with Personal Recording Services (PVR) where our favourite shows can be recorded and we won't have to miss them again!

Furthermore, it comes with high fibre broadband speed of 30mbps! Imagine loading pages within milliseconds! Bliss! There's also VOD, short for Video on Demand where you can watch your favourite recorded videos anytime! And we still can watch all the channels even on a rainy day because it isn't based on satellite services but connected through fibres! After refreshments by Royal Oak, there were some trivia questions being asked and those lucky guests walked away with extra prizes! A game of 'Who kidnapped Kak Limah' was played too! A lucky team of 5 walked away with RM 500 shopping vouchers.

The best dressed male and female walked away with a 32-inch LCD tv each! Witnessed the prize giving ceremony and catwalks by the nominees while munching on popcorn. Nevertheless, we didn't go home empty handed! Received two goody bags each from Astro and Sundance Channel! 

It was a pretty spectacular night thanks to Nuffnang and Astro! My first costume party, though without one was great! :D 

....and I hope I get to lay my hands on that Blue-Ray home theater system with this blog post!
