Day 1
Departed from Terminal 1, Changi, Singapore. Isn't Airasia a budget airline and shouldn't we be departing from the budget terminal instead? Flight took approximately 2.5 hours. Slept, read, stoned, and fought with the brother on board =.=

Was welcomed by a ring of flowers :D

First stop: Uluwatu Temple
View up there was amazing with the temple on top of the cliff, overlooking the sea. What spoiled it was the disturbance of numerous monkeys. They'd grab anything on you. Sunglasses, rubberband, or any small bags you're holding. The only way to get them back is to buy food from the people there and exchange it with the monkeys. Was more like a scam and I believe the monkeys were trained. We had sticks in our hands to chase them off. Most of us got attacked but fortunately nothing got stolen.

Next stop: GWK cultural park
Loadsa statues there with activities like flying fox, Segway rides, ATV rides, trampolines and etc. We were entitled to watch the kecak dance performance by the Balinese people as well.

First meal in Bali was a buffet spread of Balinese food. Nothing special, didn't differ much from Malay food. Noodles, rice, veg, etc.
Headed back to our hotel shortly after: Kuta station hotel, Located along the streets of Kuta, near Kuta square and kuta beach. Swarmed by foreigners, as usual. If I'm not mistaken, it was previously a train station, hence the name.

Went for a dip in the pool around 9pm, ended up freezing instead. Did a few laps and washed up before going roaming on the streets.

Being a street full of foreigners, food was overpriced. Bout rm20+ for a plate of fried rice? :/ Ended up in Mcdonalds instead. Their menu was pathetic. Beef burger was RM 6, even more pathetic. Ice cream came up to almost RM1. The adv was a hoax?

Day 2
After hearty buffet breakfast, we pushed off to the first destination; batik manufacturing place.

Second stop: Silver manufacturer. Watched how they mould and polished silver into jewellery.

Stopped by for babi guling, one of the famous Balinese cuisine. Got down of the van and got hoarded by people selling knick knacks. Had fun haggling prices and got stuff for cheap prices.

Had crispy duckling for lunch. Didn't really enjoyed it though, food was pretty bland. :/

Had durian at one of the places selling souvenirs! Tasted pretty good! RP 25000 = RM 10 for one. And they go by the size of the durian and not kg.

Kintamani volcano was our next stop. Very picturesque view, and the weather there was chilly. Got hoarded by the people again pleading us to buy stuff from them. Got a temporary tattoo done, got conned, we all learnt our lessons from there. Did the tattoo for Rp 25000 = RM 10 and down the road someone offered Rp 10000 = RM 4. FML.

World's most expensive coffee tasting up next. Know why the exhorbitant price? It's cause the coffee beans are eaten by this animal called 'luak' and after shitting them out, the coffee beans are used to make coffee. It costs USD 1 for one bean. So one kg of coffee beans costs about $1k? Oh yeah, the coffee tasted like shit to me. Think one pot costs about Rp 50000 = RM 20?

Visited the paddy fields which were planted in steps, tanaman berteres remember? Indonesia's gonna file for World Heritage for this.

Dinner at Jimbaran, by the beach under the blanket of stars, listening to the sound of waves. The airport nearby enabled us to see planes landing too. YOU would've loved it here :)

Day 3 and 4 coming up!
