Scotland Part I

A getaway to Scotland during our study week holiday from 4/11 to 8/11 with Ryan, Wendy, Lee Wee, Han Pin, Jasmine and Amanda. Visited Edinburgh, Isle of Skye, Glencoe, and small places all over Scotland.

Even went partying the night before, cause a friend was visiting from Kent? Still managed to wake up early to prepare to head to the airport.

First time at the airport after the last tear-jerking moment at KLIA. Somehow reminiscence was done, and memories flashed back constantly. Bumpy ride in the taxi along the way there made me nauseous. Curbed it with lemonade and sour gummies at the store there.

Inefficiency of Bristol airport zzz

Taking a flight here is such a hassle. We had to take off our boots, belts, watches, some accessories and went through security screening! Such a waste of time. Bag got flagged cause I forgot to place my hand lotion and lip balm in a ziplock bag and separate it. :/

And we were only permitted to bring ONE bag onto the plane. 5 mins before boarding we were informed by Jerry and gang who we bumped into, and luckily there was space in Lee Wee's hand carry to shove our handbags in. Madness.

One really displeasing thing was Jasmine was struggling to shove her luggage into the compartment on the airplane and the flight attendant didn't even bother to give her a hand and just walked past. Such POOR SERVICE!

Safe flight nevertheless!

Otw to our serviced apartment

Our stay for the night was Staycity apartment in Edinburgh. Highly recommended cause it was really comfy and all kitchen appliances, utensils and even dish washer machine was provided! All of us squeezed into an apartment designated for two people :P

After 30 mins walk from our stay

On our way up to Edinburgh castle

Didn't manage to go in cause it was already closed.

Our dinner place for the night adjacent to the whisky shop

Quite 'atas' place
Chicken with truffle and mushrooms
My angus with garlic butter and roast potatoes with a glass of Savignon Blanc.

So that sums up our first day at Scotland. Despite having an assignment due in a week I'm still blogging. Tsk. Think it'll help me with the flow of ideas to answer my assignment :P

Ciao!
